この度、小板橋夫妻の送別会を開催いたします。小板橋夫妻は28年間にわたりアメリカで素晴らしい生活を送られ、グアム、ニューヨーク、ミシガン、そして最後にハワイで暮らされました。4月1日には定年退職を迎え、故郷の北海道へ帰国致します。
小板橋恭二氏(前会長)はJTB USAハワイ支店長、日系人連合協会、日米協会、日本クラブの役員やメンバーとしても活躍され、帰国後は実家の札幌星置にて退職後の生活を夫婦で満喫する予定です。また、ハワイ&北海道の友好提携時には実行委員長として活躍し、北海道人会の会長も4年間務められました。会長任期の間には、Hokkaido Club Hawaii(NPO法人)の50周年記念レセプションを開催し、北海道知事より業績を称える賞を受賞されました。さらに、ハワイ州IGE知事からも賛美のメッセージを頂戴し、ハワイ日系人連合協会では役員として10年間ご尽力されました。
小板橋芳江夫人は、財団法人ハワイ日本人学校(レインボー学園)にて小学校3年生の担任を10年以上も務め、150名を超える生徒たちの教育に携わってきました。彼女は教育者として、ハワイ駐在の日本人学生に対して文化、歴史、道徳などの重要性を教えることで、日本人コミュニティーを支えてきました。
小板橋夫妻の情熱とリーダーシップは、地域社会の発展に大きな影響を与えました。これまでの功績に感謝し、新たな旅路への成功を願って、皆様と共に祝杯を挙げたいと思います。

We will be holding a farewell party for Mr & Mrs Koitabashi.
Mr & Mrs Koitabashi have lived a wonderful life here in the United States for 28 years, residing in Guam, New York, Michigan, and finally Hawaii. They will retire on April 1st and return to their hometown in Hokkaido.
Mr. Kyoji Koitabashi (former president HCH) has been active as the branch manager of JTB USA Hawaii, as well as a member and officer of the United Japanese Society of Hawaii, Japan-America Society Hawaii, and the Japan Club. After returning to Japan, he plans to enjoy retired life with his wife at their family home in Sapporo, Hokkaido. He also played a leading role as the executive chairman during the sister-state relationship between Hawaii and Hokkaido, and served as the president of the Hokkaido Association for four years. During his tenure as president, he organized the 50th-anniversary reception for the Hokkaido Club Hawaii (NPO), and was awarded for his achievements by the Governor of Hokkaido Naomichi Suzuki. Additionally, he received commendation from the Governor of Hawaii, and dedicated ten years of service as an officer in the United Japanese Society of Hawaii.
Mrs. Yoshie Koitabashi has served as a teacher for third-grade students at the Hawaii Japanese School (Rainbow Academy) for over ten years, personally contributing to the education of over 150 students. As an educator, she has supported the Japanese community by teaching the importance of culture, history, and morals to Japanese students residing here in Hawaii.
The passion and leadership of Mr & Mrs Koitabashi have greatly influenced the development of pur local community. We express our gratitude for their achievements and wish them success on their new journey. We look forward to raising a toast with everyone at their farewell party.
